Abbey Wood Outer AW1 Experimental Controlled Parking Zone
Following responses from a consultation in July 2024, the decision was made to trial on-street parking controls for six months and receive feedback during this time. This is an Experimental Traffic Management Order (ETMO), operating Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.

Implementing an Experimental Traffic Management Order will enable the amended parking restrictions to be monitored, and impacts assessed. At the end of the period, the scheme can either be subject to changes or completely withdrawn.
Feedback is open when the trial begins 8 September 2025 until 7 March 2026.

Enforcement of the new parking controls will commence from 8th September 2025.

From 11 August 2025, changes will be made such as the installation of clear road markings, as well as necessary signs and posts. The programme dates below are subject to weather conditions.
