Abbey Wood Outer AW1 Experimental Controlled Parking Zone
Following responses from a consultation in July 2024, the decision was made to trial on-street parking controls for six months and receive feedback during this time. This is an Experimental Traffic Management Order (ETMO), operating Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.

Implementing an Experimental Traffic Management Order will enable the amended parking restrictions to be monitored, and impacts assessed. At the end of the period, the scheme can either be subject to changes or completely withdrawn.
Feedback is open when the trial begins 8 September 2025 until 7 March 2026.

The decision was made to roll out the parking controls on-street as a ‘live’ trial/consultation on how it works, being done by an Experimental Traffic Management Order (ETMO), operating Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.
This commences from 8 September 2025.
Feedback will be open from 8 September 2025 until 7 March 2026 during the six month trial. After this feedback, a final decision will be made.
The final decision will be at any time between 8 March 2026 and 7 March 2027.
