Future Abbey Wood
Shape how your area looks, feels and works.
The Council are working to deliver further improvements in Abbey Wood that will benefit residents and businesses. Having previously supported and secured new investments and regeneration that led to the opening of the Elizabeth line and new housing and shops in Abbey Wood Village we want to hear from the local community about what they would like to see over the next decade.
The views of local people and businesses will shape an Urban Regeneration Framework (URF) for the area. This will set out a clear shared vision for how Abbey Wood should grow and improve over the next ten years.
More details about the URF are found on the Future Abbey Wood webpage.
Once the survey closes, responses will be reviewed and analysed alongside feedback from other residents, businesses and stakeholders. A summary of what we heard will be published and used to help shape the next stage of the Abbey Wood Urban Regeneration Framework.
Phases
Survey
The survey includes a mix of questions about places, travel, homes, jobs, community facilities, green spaces and local character.
We want to hear your views, experiences and local knowledge, including:
- What you value about Abbey Wood today
- Challenges or issues you experience in the area
- Your priorities for future change
- Any concerns or opportunities you think should be considered
Your responses should reflect your own experiences and opinions.
The survey should take around 5-10 minutes to complete, depending on how much detail you choose to provide. You can skip questions you do not wish to answer.
An Easy Read format is available for those that need it.
