The Council are working to deliver further improvements in Abbey Wood that will benefit residents and businesses. Having previously supported and secured new investments and regeneration that led to the opening of the Elizabeth line and new housing and shops in Abbey Wood Village we want to hear from the local community about what they would like to see over the next decade.

The views of local people and businesses will shape an Urban Regeneration Framework (URF) for the area. This will set out a clear shared vision for how Abbey Wood should grow and improve over the next ten years.

Once the survey closes, responses will be reviewed and analysed alongside feedback from other residents, businesses and stakeholders. A summary of what we heard will be published and used to help shape the next stage of the Abbey Wood Urban Regeneration Framework.

Your feedback has helped shape an emerging Urban Regeneration Framework for Abbey Wood, setting out a shared vision and strategic plan for future growth, investment and regeneration opportunities over the next 10 years.

Before the framework is finalised, we want residents to review the emerging ideas and help refine them.

Please fill out this brief survey to share your views on the URF. You will be able to comment on our overall ambition for the area as well as our specific ideas for each neighbourhood.

A complete information pack has been produced which contains information on the progression of the Future Abbey Wood project and a detailed summary of the proposals being consulted on. Images from this pack are included in the relevant sections of the survey for your reference.

You can also view the full information pack setting out these proposals in person at our exhibition events held in July and August. Further details about these events are included at the bottom of the page. Of the four events, two also include a discussion session with members of the placemaking teams at Bexley and Greenwich.
