Bexley's Got Taste
Bexley’s Got Taste is our campaign celebrating the vibrant food and drink scene right on our doorstep. From independent cafés and family-run restaurants to bakeries, pubs and street‑food favourites, the borough is home to a diverse and growing range of places to eat and drink.
We'd love you to celebrate what's on offer locally by exploring new places, revisiting old favourites and sharing your own recommendations with friends, family and neighbours. Thinking local helps to keep Bexley’s high streets busy and thriving, and celebrate what makes our borough unique.
You might have already seen our posts on social media asking for the places you love to eat and drink. We've already heard from lots of Bexley residents about the places they love, and have used this to make a list of about 60 places that represent the best of what the borough has to offer.
We are currently asking for your views on ‘the best of the best’ in a range of categories – from family‑friendly to healthy choices, from traditional English to international cuisines.
Take the survey below to vote for your favourite places to eat or drink across a number of categories, as well as choosing your overall favourite across Bexley.
The winning restaurant, café or takeaway will be shared through our social media channels.

After a fantastic celebration of Bexley’s food and drink scene, we’re delighted to share the winners of Bexley’s Got Taste 2026.
This year’s campaign has once again shone a spotlight on the incredible local restaurants, cafés, pubs, bakeries and takeaways that make our borough such a vibrant place to live, work and visit. Voted for by our community, the winners reflect the wide range of fantastic food and drink businesses across Bexley.
A special congratulations goes to The Green Man in Welling, which was recognised as Favourite Pub, Favourite Family Friendly Place and Overall Favourite.
