Parent carers: help shape Preparing for Adulthood

Bexley Voice is an independent, parent-led, registered charity supporting parent carers with children and young people (0-25) with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) who live in and/or attend an educational setting in the London Borough of Bexley.

They run many workshops and events.

They are inviting parents and carers of young people aged 14 to 25 with SEND to take part in a short survey about the Preparing for Adulthood process in Bexley.

The survey takes four to six minutes to complete and is open to anyone whose young person lives in Bexley and/or attends (or previously attended) a school in the borough, and who has or had an EHCP or was identified as SEN.

Your feedback will help Bexley Voice understand how well the Preparing for Adulthood process is working and where improvements are needed. This insight is especially important following the 2023 SEND inspection, which highlighted the need for stronger support during this transition.

All responses are anonymous unless you choose to share your details. Findings will be shared with the Council and published on the Bexley Voice website in the autumn term.
