We want to know your views on The Dell playground in Crayford.
The London Borough of Bexley is planning to refurbish The Dell playground in Crayford to provide modern, inclusive and safe play opportunities for local children and families.
We are aiming to carry out the refurbishment during the summer, so we would like to understand what matters most to residents and park users before the design is finalised.
Your feedback will help inform priorities such as play equipment, accessibility, seating and safety surfacing.

Thank you to everyone who completed this successful public consultation, which received over 360 responses from residents, parents/carers and park users.
Using your feedback, the Council is now progressing plans to refurbish The Dell playground in Crayford.
The consultation highlighted strong support for:
- modern and inclusive play equipment
- improved safety surfacing
- more challenging play opportunities for older children
- better accessibility and SEND-inclusive features
- additional seating and social spaces for families and carers.
The feedback received will now help shape the final design specification and procurement process. The Council intends to appoint a contractor this summer, with refurbishment works expected to commence later in the year, subject to procurement and programme timelines.
This year also marks the 90th anniversary of The Dell playground, providing an exciting opportunity to reinvest in a well-loved community space for future generations.
