Violence Against Women and Girls Survey
Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) is an umbrella term used to describe a range of violence and abusive acts and behaviours which are predominantly, but not exclusively, targeted at women and girls.
Every year, we ask your views, concerns, experiences and priorities for making Bexley safe from violence against women and girls, in order to develop and improve our work and to help us do this. Following the last survey, we have created our Bexley Community Safety Partnership VAWG Strategy, established a VAWG Working Group of Professionals and developed a VAWG Action Plan for the Partnership, and created a VAWG training programme.

Results
Thank you very much for participating in the VAWG Survey 2026.
The results were shared with our VAWG Working Group, made up of the Local Authority, Police, Healthcare, Education and Voluntary Sector Partners, to direct our Group’s Action Plan for the next year and wider partner priorities.
The Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy 2024-2028 updates the appendices to ensure priorities and actions are relevant. The results of this survey can be found in Appendix A. The action plan can be found in Appendix B and Appendix C reviews the last year and set out the focus for the year ahead.
