Warm Homes: Local Grant

The Warm Homes: Local Grant is a government initiative to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy bills in low-income households across England. This Grant is opening in summer 2025. Successful applicants will choose to apply for home upgrades such as insulation, solar panels and heat pumps to reduce their energy bills. 

The scheme is seeking to support residents who:

• own their home,
• have a gross household income of £36,000 per year or less OR live in a certain postcode OR are in receipt of any financial aid,
• live in a home with a low energy rating,

and live in a property that is an existing domestic dwelling (rather than a new build or self-built property).
