West Heath Experimental Controlled Parking Zone
Following responses from a consultation in July and August 2024, the decision was made to trial on-street parking controls for six months and receive feedback during this time. This is an Experimental Traffic Management Order (ETMO), operating Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.
Please see the map attached to review the area impacted.
Implementing an Experimental Traffic Management Order will enable the amended parking restrictions to be monitored, and impacts assessed. At the end of the period, the scheme can either be subject to changes or completely withdrawn.
Feedback was open when from the beginning of the trial, from 1 December 2025 until 1 June 2026.
Due to an unexpected technical error, responses submitted via the Council’s consultation website were unfortunately not fully captured during the period from Wednesday 27 May 2026 4pm to Thursday 28 May 2026 6pm. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We have reopened the consultation and have written to the six postcodes that have had submissions affected (SE2 0DS, 0DT, 0PX, 0DR, 0PY, 0PU).
The consultation will be open until 24th August 2026.
